OK, I've been up till the wee hours of the morning every day for the last several days playing Spore.  This is seriously addicting.  My first creatures have made it into space, and seem to be about two-thirds of the way on their quest to reach the middle of the galaxy.  I better make it before I have to go back to work on Monday, or I'm going to be a wreck.

Here's my first race of creatures, the Aquagots, dressed in their "space conqueror" garb:
 
Here's a cool thing: you can grab that image, drag it into your game, and the Aquagots will be loaded into your universe!  I'll post a couple of their vehicles, too, behind a cut.  Also, if any of y'all are playing, post your username (or send it to me private) so I can put you on my buddy list.  (The game will give priority to creatures, buildings, and vehicles created by people on your buddy list when it's populating your universe.)  My username is BoringPostcards.

I learned something tonight.
"Walk This Way" is the reason Guitar Hero was fucking INVENTED.  :)

It rained like hell over the weekend, which gave me a perfect excuse to stay inside and finish playing Bioshock.  I bought the game when it came out, what, almost a year ago?  Then I sort of neglected it until a few weeks ago, when I heard rumblings on the Web about Bioshock 2 being in the works.  So, I started a new game (I couldn't remember what the heck was going on in the game), and had MANY late nights over the last three weekends, finally finishing the game on Sunday afternoon.  What can I say that hasn't been said over and over already?  It's just absolutely freakin' amazing, one of the best video games ever.
